COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS
REFUGEES
OF HOPE
Refugees of Hope is a team from six local churches in Haldimand and Norfolk Counties, including Ebenezer CRC, that help relocate people to Canada who have been displaced because of religious persecution or war. We provide shelter, food, clothing, heath care and transportation for one year. Our goal is to continue to bring refugees when the funding, support systems and vetted refugees are available. We are always looking for supporting drivers, mentors and committee members in many capacities! For more information or to volunteer, search 'Refugees of Hope' on Facebook or call our church office.
Jesus said, "Go and make disciples of all nations..." (Matt. 28:19) We've been transformed by God's amazing grace in Christ, so we want the same for others, the world over! Some of us go on mission trips every year, whether to an orphanage in Haiti, community outreach in Central America or agricultural development in Africa. Inquire about an upcoming opportunity to be part of God's global mission!
MISSION TRIPS
MISSIONARY SUPPORT
We support dozens of missionaries every year through our 'Ministry Share' program in the Christian Reformed Church of North America. Three of the missionary families we have the most personal connection to are:
1. John and Marian VanderMeer, serving with Wycliffe Bible Translators in the Congo, central Africa.
2. Steve and Kim Holtrop, serving with Christian Reformed World Missions in Nicaragua.
3. Dr. Mwaya and Munjiva Wa Kitavi, serving with Christian Reformed World Missions in East & Southern Africa Ministries.
This is a great way for you to connect with what's happening in our church, in our community and all around the world!
God may be calling you to partner with Him in the work He wants to do through you.
BECOME A VOLUNTEER
We want to share the Love of Jesus with everyone that walks through our doors. Volunteering is a great way for you to meet and bless others in the church and the communities around us.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
Let us know in what ways you can help. We have so many opportunities for you to connect with others and use your gifts and talents.
